Willow View Equestrian is a historic barn that was built in the early 1900s. Although many modern updates have been made, it still holds the structure and charm of that time.

The facility boasts a brand new, state of the art, regulation size outdoor dressage ring that is tucked into a scenic nook between the wooded tree line and the property’s pond. This outdoor is a fabulous new addition which allows for practice of upper level tests as well as larger jumping lines, with the added convenience of a built-in watering system which helps to create perfect footing for every ride. This outdoor also has a well-implemented drainage system that makes it possible to ride in through much of the year.

The indoor arena is 60 x 120 ft. with spectacular new footing just replaced in fall 2020, dust control, and an updated sprinkler system of it’s own. A recently expanded outdoor round pen spanning more than 20 meters with footing is also available.

Additionally, for those who love to ride on grass, there is an outdoor jump field that is maintained for riding during the warmer weather. This field consistently has schooling jumps out as well as some bright and bolder ones to help acclimate horses to them and offer ease of use. There is on-site access to cross-country fences and introductory schooling opportunities over logs, tires, benches, coops, and other such natural obstacles.

Lastly, one of the most endearing features of this property is the wonderful, well-maintained trail access. Willow View offers miles of trails, varying from gravel and road type terrain, to brushhogged paths that pass through woods and fields.

The boarding stable has two grooming bays and a wash stall, with additional cross-ties and wash stall in the private Equine Exposure wing. The boarder tack room is heated, camera monitored, and equipped with saddle and bridle racks, as well as joint cabinets for extras such as bathing buckets. Each boarder may have a similar sized storage cabinet to keep the area neat and presentable. The upper stalls are a spacious 9x14 ft. with windows and great airflow. The barn is also outfitted with automatic waterers for consistent access to fresh, temperature-controlled water. Stalls are cleaned daily.

Willow View Equestrian has a great group of boarders and fabulous, individualized horse care. Hay is fed six times a day, and numerous grains are offered. We are happy to help customize the right feeding program for each horse, from easy keepers to high maintenance ones. Specific dietary restrictions are also accommodated. Containerized supplements, such as Smartpaks, can be fed out daily for owners’ convenience. Turnout is something we strive to offer daily, although sometimes weather does not cooperate. Various turnout options include: individual, small group, gender specific, large group. Rehabilitation, quarantine, or stud turnout is even possible. Blanket changes, fly masks, fly spray, and boots can be accommodated as needed. Board is $600 plus tax.

The barn manager lives on premises. On-site trainer, training board, and instruction are available.

Special additional ammenities include: overnight video monitoring for sick horses, HAYGAIN hay steamer, cold weather bran mashes, thermal reader to aid in lameness or illness evaluation, equine nebulizer attachment, gel Saddle Fit pad, ice boots, equine laundry, and blade sharpening services.
